Exploring Paris: Arc de Triomphe Paris, France

Hello Friends, Arc de Triomphe (Ard de Triomphe de l'Etoile) is a Well-known and the most famous monument located in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris, on the place de l'Etoile. It is the main centre point where 12  different avenues are connected with each other through the Arc de Triomphe. It is just a few steps away from the Champs-Elysees Avenue and Place Charles de Gaulle. The monument was designed by Jean Chalgrin in 1806 and was built in the memories of those French soldiers who fought for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars. The monument is an inspiration of the famous Roman Arc of Titus. The height of Arc de Triomphe is 55 meters and width is 45 meters with a depth of 22 meters.You can take metro ligne 6 and step out at Charles de Gaulle Etoile station which is in front of the monument.Travelling Hopper

Exploring Paris: Canal de l'Ourcq Paris, France

Hello Friends, Here are some pictures taken by me during last Sunday when i was doing some Jogging  activity on Canal de l'Ourcq in Paris, as you know from my other post that i love running and this is my most favorite hobby and activity whenever i have some free time out of my busy schedule; if you want to know more about that read here Why I Love Running  Along Canal Saint - Martin in Paris! I hope you will like these photos and information related to the Canal de l'Ourcq. This canal ends at the Parc de la Villette and it is part of Parisians Canals Network, which was the major source of water for people in old times.
